# utobo Email — Pricing

utobo Email is **à-la-carte**: pick any combination of three channels — Transactional, Marketing, Cold outreach — and size each one independently. **Combine two or more channels and save a flat 10%** (one subscription, one bill). All three together = the complete utobo Email platform, **from $42.30 / month**. **Annual billing applies a further 20% discount to the discounted subscription price** (28% off in total, before rounding). Prices are in USD and scale continuously with volume.

**No automatic overages.** We warn you at 80% of your allowance. When you reach your limit, sending pauses until capacity becomes available or you upgrade. Transactional Pro and Scale can also purchase additional emails for the current month. Usage allowances reset on the 1st of each calendar month (UTC); billing renews on the day you subscribed. Cancel anytime; your data is kept for 90 days after you cancel.

**What else you may pay for:** mailbox hosting and domains are purchased separately, email list verification is pay-as-you-go, and Transactional Pro/Scale top-ups are optional. Draper, the AI email agent, is an optional add-on bought in the app (Subscriptions → Draper), not in the pricing-page checkout: Brainstorm is free and advice-only with any paid utobo Email plan; Operator $99 / month (150 actions), Autopilot $299 / month (600) and Autopilot Scale $499 / month (2,000), with annual billing at 10× the monthly price ($990 / $2,990 / $4,990). Paid tiers draft campaigns, subject-line variants and one-to-one outreach emails, and, once you turn it on, find prospects on the web (up to 10 / 25 / 50 a week). There is no setup fee and no free trial.

- Priced continuously between these anchors, in steps of 5,000. Over 1,000,000 → custom (contact sales).
- Feature tiers: Starter 10K–45K, Pro 50K–245K, Scale 250K–1M.
- Extra emails (top up the current month without upgrading): Pro **$0.90 / 1,000**, Scale **$0.80 / 1,000**. Top-ups expire at the end of the month and do not roll over. Starter upgrades instead.
- Custom sending domains: 10 / 100 / 1,000 (Starter / Pro / Scale). Webhook endpoints: 2 / 5 / 10. 90-day delivery logs. REST API + SMTP + SDKs (Node, Python, Go, Ruby) + Zapier + MCP server.

## Cold outreach (priced per prospect)

Cold email campaigns sent from your own Gmail / Outlook / IMAP mailboxes, with warm-up and a Unibox to view replies from your connected mailboxes. Cold outreach sequences send through utobo's sending infrastructure from your verified sending domain, not from your connected mailboxes.

## Bundle discount

- **Combine two or more channels to save 10%.** Annual billing applies a further 20% discount to the discounted subscription price (28% off in total, before rounding).
- Each channel is its own line: annual line = round(monthly × 12 × 0.8) in whole USD; the 10% is then taken off each invoice, rounded to the cent.
- Example: Marketing 10,000 contacts ($59) + Transactional 100,000 emails ($28) = $87 → **$78.30 / month** with the bundle. Annual: $269 + $566 = $835 − 10% = **$751.50 / year** (≈ $62.63 / month).
- All three channels from **$42.30 / month** (Starter entry sizes: $9 + $9 + $29, less 10%). Pro entry sizes from $146.70 / month; Scale entry sizes from $399.60 / month.
- Your bundle includes the capacity selected for each channel. Transactional email is sized by monthly sends, Marketing by contacts, and Cold outreach by prospects. Each channel's allowance is shown before checkout.
- Contacts live in one shared list: someone who is both a marketing contact and a prospect counts once toward contact capacity, but each channel's sends count against that channel's own allowance.

## Usage definitions

- **AI action:** one AI-writer generation or one spam check. Auto-tagging contacts on import is not counted.
- **Sequence run:** one contact enrolled in a sequence. A contact can enter the same sequence only once, so re-enrolling uses no extra run.
- Sequence count, sequence runs and sending are separate allowances. When an allowance runs out, that action is blocked until allowances reset on the 1st of the month (UTC) or you upgrade.
- Example — Cold outreach Starter (1,000 prospects, 5,000 campaign emails, 3 sequences, 100 sequence runs per month): build up to 3 sequences, enroll up to 100 prospects into them this month, and send up to 5,000 campaign emails from your connected mailboxes. Campaigns send from your connected mailboxes; sequences send through utobo's sending infrastructure.
- **Daily sending limit (warm-up):** every account has one; new accounts ramp automatically — 1,000 emails in the first 24 hours, 5,000/day on days 2–4, 25,000/day on days 5–8, 100,000/day on days 9–15, and 250,000/day from day 16 onward (days counted from account creation). Counts recipients sent through the API, SMTP relay, campaigns and sequences; resets at 00:00 UTC. At the limit, campaigns and sequences resume after the reset; the API returns 429 `daily_cap` with `Retry-After`; SMTP returns a temporary 451. Cold outreach campaigns sent from connected mailboxes use each mailbox's own daily limit instead (30/day by default, ramping up from 2/day, within 50 sends/day per mailbox including warm-up). Monthly allowances still apply. Higher limits: support@utobo.com.
