How it started
We built utobo because we watched talented, hardworking founders burn out.
They weren't failing because of bad products. They were failing because the tools they relied on were built for a world before AI — software that stores data but expects humans to do all the work. Pricing changes done manually. Marketing campaigns built one at a time. Customer support answered by staff repeating the same answers every day.
A small commerce team of 2–5 people was expected to operate like a brand with a 50-person ops team. That's not a capability gap. That's a tooling gap.
So we rebuilt the whole thing from scratch — with AI as the actual operator, not a feature bolted onto legacy software. Founders define the intent. AI handles the execution.
