Copyright and DMCA Policy

utobo, Inc. ("utobo") respects intellectual-property rights and expects creators using utobo Store, utobo Email, and our websites (utobo.com, utobo.ai, and stores on utobians.com or connected domains) to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and similar laws.

Filing a takedown notice

Send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:

Your physical or electronic signature;
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
The URL or other information reasonably sufficient to locate the allegedly infringing material;
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Designated agent

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent including: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address, and telephone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or Santa Clara County, California, if you are outside the United States) and to accept service from the person who filed the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complaining party tells us it has filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also remove content or disable stores or subdomains that we believe infringe.

For trademark, impersonation, or other intellectual-property concerns, email legal@utobo.com with the details. Misrepresenting infringement may make you liable for damages.
